    Bergamot lifts. Patchouli grounds. Between the two, something settles.

    Cedar & Vanilla

    Earthy and warm. Cedarwood grounds the room while Vanilla softens the edges. Light this one at the end of the day — when you're ready to let the rest of it go.

    Lemongrass & Thai Tea

    Bright and unexpected. Lemongrass brings a clean citrus lift while Thai Tea adds a creamy, aromatic warmth beneath it. For mornings, for focus, for whenever the air needs freshening.

    Mint & Honey

    Cool and sweet in equal measure. Peppermint clears the air instantly while Honey wraps it in something gentler. The contrast is the point.

  • Before every burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch. This keeps the flame clean and the burn even.

    On your first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges before extinguishing — this prevents tunnelling and makes every burn after it better.

    Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, and anything that can catch. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.

    Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time. The vessel will be warm — allow it to cool fully before touching or moving.

    Keep the wax pool free of debris and the wick centred throughout.

    Stop burning when ¼ inch of wax remains.

  • Every candle collection at Essentials by Temi is released as a limited edition vessel. The scents may return. The vessel almost certainly won't. I choose each vessel with the same intention I choose every ingredient — because it should be worth keeping. When the wax is gone, the vessel stays. But only if you get it while it's here.

    The Vintage is the candle I make for rooms that matter. The mini trio is for trying, for travelling, for gifting. The Vintage is for staying — for the living room, the bedroom, the bath. For the evenings when you want something that fills the space properly. Same formula. More of it. That's all it needed to be.

  • Once the candle is finished, the vessel is yours to keep — and this one won't come back. Clean it out, give it a new purpose, and let it stay in your space long after the wax is gone.

    To clean: pour hot water into the vessel and let it sit for 5 minutes. Pour out the water, ease the wick base free with a spoon, then wash with soap and water.
